Chef Justin Robinson is a passionate Executive Chef hailing from Pensacola, with a culinary journey that spans across the globe. Having cooked in various places like Greece, Hawaii, New England, and Florida, he has honed his skills and expertise in diverse cuisines. In 2018, Chef Justin won the James Beard Foundation's Blended Burger Project, a national cooking competition aimed at using mushrooms to promote a bridge between full beef burgers and meat alternatives. During a short stint as Chef de Cuisine at Pensacola's famous Skopelos restaurant, he and his staff were awarded Florida's "Golden Spoon" award, an accolade that recognizes the best restaurants in each of Florida's cities. Hurricane Sally permanently closed Skopelos, but owner and Executive Chef Gus Silivos brought Chef Justin in on a new venture - opening Pensacola's Agapi Bistro, which was quickly voted Pensacola's "Best New Restaurant." He proudly holds a degree from Johnson & Wales in Rhode Island. When he's not busy creating delectable dishes, he cherishes quality time with his wife, Mykel, and their two boys. During his off time, you'll likely find Justin indulging in his favorite hobby, fishing.
